How do I access the settings menu of my Wi-Fi Homeplug? (Apple Mac OS)
What is the settings menu of my Wi-Fi Homeplug?
In the settings menu (also known as the Graphical User Interface, or GUI), you can manage the settings of your Wi-Fi Homeplug. The settings that can be changed include changing the network password, changing the network name and selecting various types of security.
You can only access the GUI via your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.).
How can I log in to the settings menu?
To do this, follow the steps below.
Before you start
Check that your Homeplugs are switched on and have been installed correctly. Then check whether the wireless device (such as your tablet or laptop) that you wish to use to log in has got a connection with your Wi-Fi Homeplug. If you don't have a connection, you will be unable to log in.
To check this, open the list of your wireless networks.
For Apple/Mac OS devices: click on the network icon at the top right (using the left-hand mouse button). The screen below will be displayed. This is a list of the wireless networks that your Apple device has found.
A list of the wireless networks will then be displayed. Look for the network provided by your Wi-Fi Homeplug and make sure you are connected to that network.
The network name of your Wi-Fi Homeplug can be found on the back label of your Homeplug (the sticker on the rear) and on the Info Flyer supplied (unless you previously changed the network name).
